MeetingJuice transcribes in the language your meeting is spoken in, and can generate AI summaries in the language you prefer.

Transcription language

The transcript follows the meeting’s spoken language. You can set or change it in the moment:

• Chrome extension — pick the language in the panel before or during the call.
• Meeting bot — set the language when you bring the bot in, or switch it live.
• Add-on — the side panel uses your account’s preferred language.

Note

Changing the language mid-call applies to everything captured from that point on. Earlier parts of the transcript keep the language they were captured in.

Summary language

When you run an AI action, you can choose the output language independently of the transcript. So you can transcribe a French call and generate an English summary, for example.

Supported summary languages include English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish and more.

Tips for the best transcript

• Turn on captions in Google Meet — MeetingJuice builds the transcript from the live captions.
• Use a good mic — clearer audio means cleaner captions and a more accurate transcript.
• Pick the right language before the call starts to avoid mixed-language sections.
