Chrome extension
The Chrome extension is the easiest way to record meetings you attend yourself. It captures the call locally from your browser as it happens — transcription is free and unlimited.
Install
Section titled “Install”-
Add the extension
Open the MeetingJuice extension on the Chrome Web Store (you’ll find the install link on your dashboard) and click Add to Chrome.

Pin it
Click the puzzle-piece icon in Chrome’s toolbar and pin MeetingJuice so the panel is always one click away.

Sign in
Open the extension and sign in with the same Google account you use on the dashboard. Your session stays connected, so you only do this once.
Record a meeting
Section titled “Record a meeting”- Join any meet.google.com call.
- The MeetingJuice panel appears alongside the meeting.
- Recording starts automatically once Google Meet captions are available.
- The live transcript builds in the panel as people speak.
During the call
Section titled “During the call”- Live transcript — see who’s speaking, in real time.
- Change language — switch the transcription language on the fly. See Languages.
- Stay present — you don’t need to take notes; everything is captured for you.
After the call
Section titled “After the call”When the meeting ends, click View transcription to jump to the meeting in your dashboard, where you can generate AI summaries and share your notes.
Extension vs. bot
Section titled “Extension vs. bot”Both draw from the same monthly recording pool. On the Free plan that’s 10 recordings/month (up to 5 via the bot); Pro and Team are unlimited. See Quotas & limits.
