The MCP server is designed so you stay in control of your data at all times.

Per-account tokens

• Each token is scoped to your account only. Your AI can never see another user’s meetings.
• Tokens are stored hashed — the full value is shown to you only once, at creation, and never again.
• You can hold several tokens (e.g. one per client) and revoke any of them instantly.

Read-first, no deletion

The MCP server can read your meetings and perform safe writes (generate a summary, rename, add a note, create a share link). It cannot delete meetings, transcripts or notes — destructive actions are off-limits to your AI assistant.

Pro & Team only

Generating an MCP token requires a Pro or Team plan. Free accounts can’t create tokens.

Best practices

Note

• Treat your mcp_live_… token like a password — never paste it into shared chats or commit it to a repo.
• Use a separate token per device or client, so you can revoke one without affecting the others.
• Revoke tokens you no longer use from Integrations → AI access (MCP).

Revoke a token

Go to Integrations → AI access (MCP) in your dashboard and click Revoke next to the token. It stops working immediately, and any client using it loses access.
