Troubleshooting

The most common cause is that Google Meet captions never turned on.

  • Make sure captions are available in the meeting.
  • With the extension, confirm the MeetingJuice panel is open and shows “recording”.
  • If you joined late, only the part captured after MeetingJuice started will appear.
  • Check the meeting had a waiting room — if so, admit MeetingJuice Notetaker.
  • Make sure you launched it from the Workspace add-on side panel inside the Meet call.
  • On the Free plan, confirm you haven’t used your 5 monthly bot recordings (Quotas).
  • Confirm you’re on a meet.google.com call.
  • Check the extension is pinned and you’re signed in with the right Google account.
  • Reload the Meet tab.
  • Refresh your dashboard. Activation is near-instant after payment.
  • If the extension still shows Free, sign out and back in to refresh your session.
  • If it persists, contact support with your account email.
  • You may have hit your monthly AI action limit (Quotas).
  • Very short meetings with little transcript may not have enough content to summarize.
  • The bot stops when the meeting ends or when you stop it.
  • On Free, meetings are capped at 1 hour — upgrade to Pro to remove the limit.
